Isabel Yellin’s fabrics

Isabel Yellin uses fabrics as if they were paintings. Authentic works of art exhibited in 2014 at the Gallery Vigo Miami and formed by the union of different scraps of fabrics that, altogether, remind us the tiling or the abstract paintings of Rothko with an unstructured touch. Her minimalism and abstraction are on the way between sculpture and painting.

What this American artist has made is to give an extraordinary value to fabrics, making you see it from a point of view you would have never imagined.
