The ethereal work of Betina Du Toit

Betina’s images capture a variety of blue, green, brown and orange tones in what appears to be an endless autumn. She is able to draw a natural beauty in each of her works. Originally from a small town on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa, Betina began her career as a journalist. After working for several important publications, she looked back at the camera, a medium she has always been attracted to and now occupies all her attention in her adoptive home in Paris.

Betina spends her time filming editorials for important publications like Nylon and V Magazine, or brands like Chanel and Dior. Regardless of the project, she always works intuitively and intimately, resulting in images “stripped of the non-essential” and where nature plays an important role.
